“This was an amazing property. Secluded enough for privacy and quiet reflection, but close to Oracle and Tuscon. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Saw a deer in the backyard, many, many, many hummingbirds and various bunnies and quail. Great communication with the owners. Would definitely recommend this property!”

“The stay was great! I had to clean the glass stovetop to before I cooked. It was not cleaned to my satisfaction.”

“This cottage was a perfect fit for birders, away from the crowds and excellent open range area to catch the morning and dawn bird activity. The location is a short drive to the Chiricahuas. Our hostess was very accommodating, the rooms were well furnished and this provided a perfect base for our stay.”

“The beds were comfy. Clean house and everything well marked and organized. The kitchen was well stocked which was helpful since we needed to prepare food for a gathering. The host was quick to respond to our requests. We would love to stay again when we could hang out and relax.”

“My mom and I came from Texas to host a baby shower and stayed at the Bird House—it was the perfect getaway. The home is beautifully decorated, solidly built, and very peaceful. My mom, who keeps odd hours and is hard of hearing, loved it, and I couldn’t hear her at all from upstairs!When she accidentally locked herself out, Stacy responded right away and was so kind and helpful.One thing to note: my 6’4” husband hit his head on the ceiling going up the stairs—charming old house, but not built……

“This place is immaculately clean. Having kids, you always end up wiping up a little water from the floors from spills and splashes and almost every time a scary amount of dirt comes up with the paper towel. Not here - spotless house! In addition to being extremely clean, the home is well stocked and feels cozy. We were surprised that there is a travel trailer onsite (behind some fencing that sort of subdivides the lot) in full view of the patio/front of the home. While the occupant seemed very……

“We chose this property because it was close to two hikes we wanted to do at Ft Bowie and Chiricauchua. Willcox is right down the road. It was the ideal spot for what we needed. Clean, comfortable and a great place to relax. ”

“Everything was great! The property was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We bought some bird food and spent the mornings and evenings relaxing on the porch watching the desert bird species. We checked out the Chiricahua Mountains National Monument and did several hikes as well. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a few days and relax!”
