“The property allowed my family and I to enjoy the Arkansas landscape in privacy and kept us close to nature. Had me day dreaming about buying my own property in the ozark mountains one day. The property manager did a great job communicating the expectations. Made for an easy trip. ”

“Over all stay was good other then not having power for a short period of time due to adding a new power pole next-door. Home appeared clean other than an open beer can in closet that drew in gnats and a few other minor things within the home that was communicated with the owners like no power on south wall in kitchen. Owners were prompted with communication. ”

“We loved our stay at the Rock House! The home was clean and comfortable. John and his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river, both on the property and from a nearby public road and even provided us plenty of firewood. There were a lot of ticks by the river so I recommend bringing tick spray. I suspect it has to to with the time of year rather than location because this was not the only spot we picked them up and……

“We seen deer most evenings, also a sneaking little raccoon that didn't want to disturb us but wanted to check things out. Very nice get away for us! ”

“The house was great for what we needed! Location was convenient, the beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the floors weren’t very clean. I notified the owner when we got there. Unfortunately, he didn’t receive the notification until our check out. He was going to discuss it with the cleaners and offered a discount for a future stay to make it right. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“The house was so spacious! We are a family of 10 and and we never felt crowded. The kids liked the den with the TV, while the adults gathered in the living room or the huge deck with an amazing view. The house was spotless and the host was very responsive. We loved the privacy of the location while still being so close to Petit Jean State Park. Perfect!”
