Ants in kitchen and a couple in the bedrooms; bed linens smelled of body odor and or must. ; walls in bedrooms filfthy. Sticky substance on kitchen counter. Cheap contact paper noted on counters. Dining room chairs dirty with one broken. Front door broken. AC unit in bedroom not working properly and AC unit in dining room had……

“My extended family stayed at this beautiful home over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was an easy check-in process, and the communication with the owner was simple. The house is just gorgeous, with lovely views of the Mystic Lakes. We had terrible weather while we were staying here, so we didn't get to enjoy the access to the water, but... next time!”

“A lovely home on a river. Close to wedding venue, which was wonderful. Very clean home, and owner was quick to respond and welcoming. ”

“House was nice. It was clean and well located. As it is an older home, it did have some quirks, such as sagging floors in the kitchen but was functional. Price was good. Only issue was that the dock was not installed, so getting the boats in the water was a bit of an issue. We were told that there was a swimming area down the road, but it was locked and the owner was unable to get us the combination. I think these would have been good things to know, but we still had a nice time”

“Overall dissatisfied:-manager never returned 4 emails requesting internet access and password. Called listed number and got out of service message NO INTERNET/WIFI entire time on premises-roach in kitchen on stove-sleeps 5 gave us 3 hangers-not enough flatware for 5 people to eat-hair in walk-in shower-could use tissues. Toilet paper hurts my nose-could use napkins-tv in primary bedroom didn’t work-fan and a/c in second bedroom didn’t work-on personal note, guests found beds uncomfortable, walk……

“This property was pretty amazing! We loved aspects like the full/updated kitchen, the exposed beams (which is definitely our style) and the large closet in the bedroom. We also enjoyed the pool during our stay which was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend if your looking for a property with that American Northeast historic feel. ”
