“We are a family of 5 (3 kids). We got a very nice room with a wonderful balcony, in which we were happy to sit and eat (all 5 of us). Cristiano (the owner) is a super host - he was so helpful in giving us any information we needed, especially about celiac (they have celiac in the family so he was happy to share his useful knowledge). “Staff were incredible, sent my parents on a trip to lake garda and they went above and beyond to help me when they ended up getting stranded due to public transport strikes etc. Really couldn't fault them, all the staff at aktiv hotel from booking to check out were fantastic! Couldn't recommend them highly enough! ”

“Don't even know where to start. This hotel was the highlight of a larger trip through Europe. The combination of old and new architecture is amazing. The spa is wondeful. Highlight was out bar tender though. Giuseppe made the best drinks ever. This place is top notch. Location is amazing, everything in walking distance. Staff is super helpful and friendly, goes the extra mile. This one really deserves the 'Grand' in their name.”
