When checking in we were contacted by our host that a fine would be incurred for flushing toilet paper down toilet?? The back yard was awful. There was animal feces all over which was a concern as we have dogs. No gas for grill. No detergent for dishwasher/washing machine. No dishtowels. Low quality bath towels. “We really enjoyed our stay at this charming 100-year-old property. It had a lot of character and was cozy and comfortable. The only minor issues were that the sheets and towels had a bit of a musty smell, and there were still some Christmas decorations up during our visit. Otherwise, everything was well kept, and we appreciate the unique, historic feel of the home. Thank you!”

“This is the nicest place to stay. It's right on the edge of Auburn Hills and very near to Rochester Hills. The communication with our host was amazing from start to finish. “A church staff planning retreat for our Christmas events for next year. It was the perfect place and everything we needed. Love also the animals and while it was bitter cold and snowing all week not just the view was incredible but the animals were still all around the property. It was a winter wonderland and wonderful animals just made it that much better. Its definitely a place we can highly recommend. ”

“We booked our stay because of some work we were having done on our house. The fumes made it necessary for us to stay away from home while the varnish smell dissipated. This was a great find!
