“We were in town for our daughter's wedding and had a crazy, hectic schedule. The property was conveniently located, quiet and spotlessly clean. All the conveniences were included and the owners were responsive and easy to contact. We would definitely stay at this location again on future visits to Michigan.”

“The location was perfect and the house was adequate however the house was not as listed. When checking in we were contacted by our host that a fine would be incurred for flushing toilet paper down toilet?? The back yard was awful. There was animal feces all over which was a concern as we have dogs. No gas for grill. No detergent for dishwasher/washing machine. No dishtowels. Low quality bath towels. Very disappointed. havewehavA ground hog frequent visitors. ”

“This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. “First, note that you are not communicating directly with the owner(s) as they use a third party based in the Philippines and that the owner(s) actually live next door, which at first was okay - but then when concerns arose, they pretty much ghosted us. Amenities were important due to the length of our stay. We arrived to a note on the counter that the washing machine and dishwasher were broken, but they would do their best to get them fixed. The washer was fixed the day prior but no attempt was……
