“This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. “A church staff planning retreat for our Christmas events for next year. It was the perfect place and everything we needed. Love also the animals and while it was bitter cold and snowing all week not just the view was incredible but the animals were still all around the property. It was a winter wonderland and wonderful animals just made it that much better. Its definitely a place we can highly recommend. ”

“This is a nice quality property that met our needs wonderfully. Very spacious for the four of us. Visiting in late November, we didn't make use of the lakeside location or outdoor firepit, but the living room fireplace was very easy to use and provided extra warmth and ambiance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would love to explore what it has to offer in warmer weather ”

“Positives: Nice setting, clean enough, beds were comfortable, enjoyed kayaks and canoe Negatives: Multiple code violations: 1 visible smoke detector, hot water heater not working/grounded, gas stove wouldn't light, insufficient pots and pans, master bedroom didn't have clean towels (had to wash wet /dirty towels), no hair dryers, no directions on how to close up house, leaking ceiling in kitchen,pontoon boat not working”
