“A church staff planning retreat for our Christmas events for next year. It was the perfect place and everything we needed. Love also the animals and while it was bitter cold and snowing all week not just the view was incredible but the animals were still all around the property. It was a winter wonderland and wonderful animals just made it that much better. Its definitely a place we can highly recommend. ”

“We came in town for a wedding and booked Jordan’s place. Jordan was responsive to any questions we had. The house was extremely clean and the location in town was perfect. The pics don’t do it justice of how nice this house is. The house is charming and felt like home. ”

“This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. Highly recommend this stay for large groups! the guys to get ready downstairs while we had hair and makeup done upstair ”

“First, note that you are not communicating directly with the owner(s) as they use a third party based in the Philippines and that the owner(s) actually live next door, which at first was okay - but then when concerns arose, they pretty much ghosted us. Amenities were important due to the length of our stay. We arrived to a note on the counter that the washing machine and dishwasher were broken, but they would do their best to get them fixed. The washer was fixed the day prior but no attempt was……

“The check in process was easy. The cabin was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed taking morning walks around the quiet neighborhood and admiring the fall leaves. We'll definitely stay again in this spacious oasis! ”

Visiting in late November, we didn't make use of the lakeside location or outdoor firepit, but the living room fireplace was very easy to use and provided extra warmth and ambiance. “Positives: Nice setting, clean enough, beds were comfortable, enjoyed kayaks and canoe Negatives: Multiple code violations: 1 visible smoke detector, hot water heater not working/grounded, gas stove wouldn't light, insufficient pots and pans, master bedroom didn't have clean towels (had to wash wet /dirty towels), no hair dryers, no directions on how to close up house, leaking ceiling in kitchen,pontoon boat not working”
