“We had such a nice relaxing stay! Plenty of space for 7 adults. Enjoyed the hot tub and walk to the river. The house was nicely divided into two areas which was nice for half of the group that wakes early and the others that like to sleep in. Loved the screened in porch. Owners were helpful and responded quickly. Very centrally located to Clear Creek and Cook Forest. Very clean and well maintained home.”

“The host did not send check-in instructions until 640pm after VRBO staff and myself tried to contact her, as check in is at 5pm. After arriving at the property, we looked inside the window and it had not been cleaned at 6:15pm (beds unmade). “My wife and I are vendors at a local event and try to stay in locally owned B&Bs as well as VRBO establishments rather than hotels. This property was one of our favorites. It was exactly what was advertised, off the beaten path, quiet and relaxing. The owner was fantastic with communication and the place was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend it. “We had 14 people there with all ages and fit very comfortably. It was beautiful to look out to the snow covered lake. Hostess was great to respond to our needs and easy to work with. The driveway goes down a little hill which was hard to get up with the snow but we understood the guy who does the snow plowing was on Christmas vacation so should be fine in the future. We enjoyed our stay there. Shopping and bowling in Du Bois. ”
