“Wonderful house, great stay. So peaceful with gorgeous views, deer everywhere. House has absolutely everything you need and the arcade games and air hockey were so fun. We were staying for a wedding at the state park and it was convenient for family to come in and out and the bride to get ready. Lots of folks in and out and never felt crowded. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay again! Host was very prompt to respond to questions.”

We were on our way back to Ohio from Oak Island, NC, and it was a lovely middle point to rest for the night. “The pictures don’t do justice for how beautiful this place was the views was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay there. There is nothing like having your morning coffee on the porch while watching deer graze not even bothered by you. We met the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. 10/10 recommend! “I would stay here again! That says a lot! The views and getting to pet the horses was an incredible experience. The AC was new! I saw maybe 2 ants. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans to cook for our group of 12. There are 6 bedrooms. The two queen beds in a large space, is in the basement plus two bedrooms. Everyone slept well. “My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.”
