“It was quiet and secluded, and gave my girlfriend and I a chance to unplug from our day to day lives in the city. The place was clean and orderly. Close by was the New River trial which we took advantage of. There isn’t any negative things I can say other than the flood lights were a little too sensitive and were going off all night. “My boyfriend and I stayed here for the second time with our two dogs (1st time was in 2023! We loved it so much we had to return when picking this year’s trip!) This Max Meadows cabin is so peaceful & serene, no neighbors in sight from the house, very private. Our two dogs loved all of the outdoor space they got outside to roam around. “So much potential with this one! The cabin was brand new and beautiful. So was the bathhouse. Property is on a busy road with cars and motorcycles zipping by until the late hours. Property manager did not send confirmation until 20 minutes after check in time, I was on the road and couldn’t respond and by the time I got there and realized there was no cell service. I could not access my app to write to request the Wi-Fi password… If there is one? Normally this would not be priority,……

“We initially chose this property because it was a halfway meeting point for three couples. The accommodations exceeded expectations. The layout of the living room and kitchen provided a nice flow for all to hangout. We brought kayaks and bikes and spent time exploring the river as well as the local trails. We even brought our cat who enjoyed sitting on the porch and window sills. The only thing we wish we could change was the size of the two first floor bedrooms. A little small but not a deal……
