“My wife and I were celebrating 31 years of marriage. The cabin was very nice and very thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities you might need. We brought our Labrador with us. There was lots of space for him to run. The view was outstanding. It was very private and relaxing. We had a great time and we would definitely recommend the cabin to friends Joe & Laure”

And there was not one thing overlooked by the owners. Everything was extremely clean and neat and very well organized. “We were in VA to celebrate our daughter's white coat ceremony at VMCVM. Most of our time was spent in Blacksburg, but we did explore Craytor Lake State Park and had dinner in Radford.This house was perfect for us. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. The area is beautiful and quiet. The property is very pet-friendly (we were traveling with our dog). She enjoyed walking along the road and got to see cows up close and personal for the first time. The listing is accurate……

“My family had a fantastic stay. The indoor space was great for time together and time to spread out. My grandson loved the deck, hot tub and yard. Being on the New River trail was an added bonus. One of my top ranked VRBO stays ever.”

“Gosh! A beautiful cabin in such a beautiful setting! If there could be improvement, I may suggest dish detergent, bath soap, towel bars/hangers, bedside tables and lamps, as well as a table or chest of drawers to put clothes. Minor fixes I am certain will come as the house is new! Overall, an absolutely wonderful weekend that should have lasted longer!!! Many thanks!”

“This was our 4th stay at Kent’s Cabin. We come just to chill but if you wanted things to do there’s plenty of activities in the surrounding area.”

“We chose this location because it was close to where we were booked to go trout fishing. It was my husband and I and our adult son and his GF. The chalet was perfectly sized for the four of us but could easily accommodate more people if needed. The large deck with the outdoor seating was nice and the hammock was used by a couple of us to lounge. The sunsets were beautiful and we could see the lights of Wytheville below through the trees. The owner Brandy checked in with us upon arrival and was……

“Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid.”

“This cabin was really efficient with all amenities. The host responded immediately to any questions and was very cordial. The peacefulness while sitting on the deck and enjoying wildlife was spectacular. Would highly recommend for a calm and beautiful getaway.”
