“My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.”

“The house is perfect for a small group coming to town for a football game or just to visit the area. It’s conveniently located right off 81 and only a few min from Blacksburg. The host was great, accommodating and easy to reach. I recommend this property and would stay here again. ”

The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. “We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. ”

“Property was exactly as described, online photos where accurate, kitchen(s) were ideal for prepping meals for our family and friends, and living room/common spaces were ample in size for everyone (16 house guests), plus 25 college students that came to eat, socialize during the day, and play the multiple outdoor game equipment we rented from our graduate’s school. ”
