“This house was the perfect house for our visit to the DC area to have a memorial for my mother. We were an extended family group whose ages ranged from 95 to 25 with one toddler. After visiting Arlington National Cemetery we were able to have a home cooked family dinner at the rather impressive large table with all of my Mom's favorite foods as well as presenting a slideshow on one of the large flat panel TVs. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to have their own rooms as well……

“Didn’t know what to expect, but regardless I was blown away. The place is VERY well furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was the perfect place to come back home to and relax after a long day. The owner was also amazing, she left a few chocolates and a welcome note. She was also an amazing communicator, I didn’t need too many things, but the things I did need, she accommodated instantly. 10/10, this place is phenomenal ”

“The cabin was the perfect little tiny home for a cozy stay. The creative ways the use space to provide all typical amenities was really impressive. Everything was clean, fresh, and well kept. I would’ve loved to use the outdoor patio but I was visiting from California and was not used to the East coast summer weather Tommy was a very communicative host and the instructions for the home were very clear. 10/10 would stay again!”

“Hugh was absolutely a great host. Everything was clean & beautifully decorated. The location was ideal for a trip to the DC area. Hugh even went out of his way to provide a propane grill for us and helped us with the best ways to find great parking in DC and the Metro stations. I would definitely go back & highly recommend this listing. ”

“It's a nice place for a big group to crash for a few days. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and pots/pans -- everything we needed. Adequate number of bathrooms for everyone. Short drives to many nice places and to the metro station. Check-out is very simple and appreciated. Owner was always available and proactive on making sure our stay was comfortable. A few no-big-deal oddities: Decaf was the only Keurig coffee option. Garbage disposal failed. No shampoo (but……

“The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house.”

“We loved this large, beautiful home in a safe and friendly neighborhood for our private school group of 15. We used public transit from the airport to the house, traveling to the national mall every day to visit smithsonian museums and national monuments. We chose this place because it has so many bathrooms, plenty of space, and it's right next to the bus stop-- and it's gorgeous! It was immaculate. “We needed a place that would suit a group of eight, and this venue was perfect. This is a large, spacious home with many bedrooms, many of which can be shared. Close to amenities, but with a good amount of privacy. ”
