“This was a great cabin property that is walking distance from a winery - but was for me even greater for allowing quick access to Ohiopyle (hiking) and Morgantown (WVU graduation weekend at a very affordable rate). The cabin was clean and well-maintained, the decks were very nice for enjoying the peaceful creek below. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home felt very safe - I’d definitely stay again in the future. ”

“This house is centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Laurel Caverns, Nemacolin, and Ohiopyle State Park trails. Everything is just 10-15 minute drive but when you come back to the house after a long day, you feel like you are in the country far away from the rest of the world, so you can relax and recharge for the next day. ”

“It is not fancy, but great for the price for a short get away close to lots of hiking for me and my dog.Check in and check out were easy. I noticed a problem with the oven, but didn’t need to use it for the stay, and they were nice enough to wait to send somebody until check out day to come fix it. Internet and TV were easy to use. There was a nice intro packet to the area.Biggest complaint would be that there is no privacy barrier between the hot tub and the main road. I was looking forward to……

“The location of this property, right beside a picturesque little creek, is perfect. We stayed with friends during a snowy long weekend. The house was nice and warm despite the cold and snowy weather. One thing to note is that the bedrooms have low ceilings, so people who are tall should be aware. ”

“Great spot with great amenities! Had access to a fire pit, grill, and kitchen. Awesome spot tucked away but close to town, a winery, and distillery! Would stay again. ”

“Overall the property was amazing. Well secluded but lots to do within a few miles. This is out in the woods so you can expect low water pressure. When we first arrived the upstairs smelled like sewage but the area recently got a lot of rain and as soon as we started using the water/drains in went away. This place is spacious and worked perfect for our aunt/niece getaway! Very cozy and the beds were very comfortable! This house had everything basic you needed down to some shampoo and soap! ”

“My husband and I stayed here for a weekend get-away. The house was very nice. Had all the amenities that we wanted and needed. Welcome basket was very thoughtful. Host was prompt with communication. The property was very relaxing. The sound of rushing water and nature made for a peaceful time to enjoy my coffee in the morning. Although the weather was not great, we were still able to enjoy the surrounding state parks which were all close by. ”

“This place was absolutely perfect. Long weekend escape from the city. Private enough to enjoy a hot tub or outdoor activities without other people in your face. But close to amazing BBQ restaurants and tons of hiking trails to explore a short drive away.The home was the perfect combination of cozy cabin feel but with modern amenity comforts.
