“Just as described..quaint, charming historic tavern/restaurant along National road. We arrived in time to catch a last serving on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious—Service was terrific! Our check in could not be smoother-used electronic—and hostess was as welcoming as can be ! The floor plan was unique yet easy to follow—the complimentary cafe/bistro hallway was ideal for hot/cold soft beverages andnicely supplied quick b’fast to go in the am. Only issue would be if you have……

“Paulina took long time to respond when the lock was not programmed. Asked several question with no or late responses. The house is amazing, the back steps-patio should have been blown off. Very clean.”

“We look for unique places to stay and this was unique staying in a near 150 year old school house. The building is a 2 story and bedrooms are upstairs. There is a 1/2 bath down and full bath up. Chet the owner met us at the car upon arrival and explained things. He is friendly and helpful. The exterior and interior are both in good condition. The LR ceiling has not been drywalled like the remainder of the unit but there is a sign stating that renovations are in progress. I gave a 5 star review……

“This is a beautiful house in a gorgeous area! The host is very friendly and gracious, and so are the locals. We could not have asked for better accommodations while in the area - everything we needed for a wonderful vacation was already here when we arrived. We definitely hope to get to come and visit again sometime!”
