One downside was the family staying in the big house kept throwing their dog poop all around the garbage can, which was not pleasant to navigate around when taking out the garbage and yucky to look at. Waking up and having our morning coffee on the private beach just beyond a small dune was a truly amazing experience for us, as we love the ocean. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, but who wants to leave when the ocean is in your backyard? We saved a lot of money by bringing groceries & beverages. “The house was very nice and clean in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and living room had ample comfortable sitting for our small group. There were turkey vultures high in the trees every morning which was pretty cool. Good swimming at Monument Beach, about a 5 minute walk away. Lots more beaches within easy drive. Good bakery very nearby. ”
