I don’t know what the vrbo listing meant by steps from the lake. Clearly not for swimming, though. The only bummer. Although the beach at Lance Park was also really rocky and we would recommend a slightly longer drive to Silver Lake Beach where the bottom was sandy and once the lifeguards leave at six you……

The walk on pier offers quick access to the lake for fishing and also the complimentary kayaks and paddle boards.
