“We admired the cleanliness, how well stocked the kitchen was with basic supplies. The bedrooms were week appointed and living spaces were very comfortably furnished. . ”

“We stayed here with our 2 year old and it was the perfect place to cuddle up after playing in the snow. There was already a high chair and a pack and play which was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!”

“We came here for a friend’s ski trip (11 of us) and had an absolutely wonderful time. Great amenities, PLENTY of space, and we used the spa area daily. You will need a 4WD car to get up the hill in the winter, and it’s not that walkable to the bus in the winter (because of the hill), but with cars it was totally fine. Avantstay hosted is very well. ”

“The gas grill didn't get above 275, so cooking was difficult. The burners on the stove are all on angles. The front door handle fell apart while leaving one day and I couldn't find a Allen wrench to fix it. Overall the cabin is in useable shape ”

“Really appreciate the historic/family roots of the property however, would not stay again. Cabin was dated, infested with bugs, loft was an inferno and all smelled stale/moldy. Clearly a better stay in the winter for access to mountains.”

“This house was the perfect size for our party of 8. Our 4 kids enjoyed playing in the many open spaces in the house. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and walking distance to downtown Frisco. ”

“The Jewel Box is more than just a ‘cozy cabin’. It is a magical gem tucked away with spectacular views and everything you could possibly want or need for winter vacation. Chanie, was very responsive when needed and made us feel right at home over the Christmas holiday with her furnishings and decor. We would love to return in the fall in full aspen color! ”

“Super cozy cabin in the woods with a hot tub: it’s as exactly as described and our 3 gens, family of 5 enjoyed the stay! There were minor maintenance issues that I wish they had taken cared of like a light bulb out in one of the showers. And shortage of adult size utensils. I like Frisco since we can hit different slopes and I like the small town. As an undergrad in CU Boulder in early 90s it def took me by surprise that they had the Big Head Todd & Monsters tape! It was my Alpha kids first……
