“We stayed at this beautiful property winter of '25. Although lake properties are traditionally a summer getaway we loved every minute of our winter retreat. We were traveling for a curling tournament and loved waking up to the beautiful lake view. We enjoyed early morning walks on the frozen lake playing fetch with our dog Cooper. The beds were incredibly comfortable with great linen. The kitchen had everything we needed for in home meals after long days of sport activity. The welcome note and……

My initial concern that the day before check-in I was informed that a friend of theirs was going to be staying in their space downstairs. Nothing was on the listing about two spaces. I was reassured by the homeowner that it would not affect my stay. Honestly, it didn’t. There were sometimes that I heard them in the early morning and evening when they came home. Not……

“Stayed with my parents, siblings and their families. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Kitchen was stocked with very nice pots, pans, and food storage. Having two fridges was great! The lofted space with the bonus room with beds was awesome for the kids to have their own hangout space. Access to the water was perfect and so close the beach and park worked out so well! We would definitely book again!!”

“Otter Creek Manor is a stunning and peaceful home located within the city of Eau Claire but has the country feel, surrounded by woods. Walking down by the creek the owners have your peace and serenity in mind as there are several ares set up with lounge chairs to just sit, enjoy nature, and the sounds of the creek running through.
