“When we arrived it felt as if we were home again. The genuine welcome, the warm smile and the great conversation started at checkin. We were immediately familiarized with the area, personally shown to our room and shown the hotel features along the way. We only stayed one night but regretted we hadn’t booked for more. Steve our host was witty, kind, helpful and oh so representative of the well known Irish hospitality! The room was so clean, the bathroom so modern, nothing amiss with the stay at……

“Plenty of room and very clean. It’s in a beautiful area but the bar/restaurant is smallish so go for dinner with plenty of time so you get a table. Staff are wonderful”

“Our room window opened to the stream that ran next to the property. It was so soothing to hear at night. The breakfast options were yummy. The hosts were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about things to do. Overall great stay”

“First time I have stayed here. A real find. A bit quirky but overall excellent. Rooms come with fridge which vontained some fresh smoked salmon and Brie plus ol and water. Also breakfast is a very good DIY with granola and yogurts provided plus croissants and French pastries, jams etc. Also the hotel has a brilliant restaurant which you have to book as the locals know about it too. The car park can be a little tight and the stairs no lift would challenge the infirm. Overall a fabulous good value……
