“Great place to stay on Valentia Island to explore the region. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast and dinner the one night we ate there were delicious. It was a pleasant experience to stay in a hotel that has been in business for over 150 years.”

“The staff is so amazing and accommodating. We got stuck in town due to an "one in five or six year snow storm" and the staff was amazing about getting us booked for another night. The property has a bar and restaurant that was phenomenal. It's also right in middle of town so very walkable. Room was large and clean. Just an outstanding property and staff. Highly recommend and Deirdra was a wealth of knowledge about where to go for any and everything!! Five stars!!”

“Ci capita spesso di scegliere una sistemazione con l'idea che più un posto è isolato, più alte sono le probabilità che sia un piccolo paradiso. Ciò detto, questo albergo ha risposto in pieno alle aspettative, pur non trovandosi in un luogo remoto (il paesino vicino con pub ristorante è a meno di un chilometro), la tranquillità è assoluta e l'espressione "immerso nella natura" è tutt'altro che retorica. Ci sentiamo assolutamente di raccomandarlo. Magari averlo a duecento chilometri da casa!”

“The village is charming and is off the beaten path. You need a car to easily access the surrounding areas of Tralee and Dingle. The area offers lots of excellent hiking of varied difficulty. It’s low key. The pub offers good food and a place to visit with other guests. ”

“Great property and area. However when booking on Expedia it says 24km to Dingle which was misleading. There is no ferry to Dingle and it's 114km by car.”

“As the name suggests, this B&B comes with a splendid seaview. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so you hear every single sound from next door.”

Clodagh’s place is gorgeous, luxurious, ideally located on the water, and close to the action but far enough away to be a peaceful haven. The room was huge and well stocked, breakfast was sumptuous, and meeting Clodagh was like reconnecting with an old friend. Highly recommend! I want to come back and stay a week. ”
