“We are a group of cyclists in town for The Tour of the Battenkill 2025. The property was absolute perfection. A beautifully restored farm house with lots of barn space for our bikes, we felt so comfortable and welcome there. The house is perfectly appointed with tons of space and comfortable bedrooms. We had two wonderful dinners and sat out on the beautiful patio watching the sunset and reliving the Bike Race of the day.The grounds are exquisitely kept and a morning hike on the property was……

“The stay at the barn was fantastic. Very warm and cozy . For those who think staying in a restored barn was drafty , not at all , it's very well insulated and it was 31 degrees outside. The fire place was awesome with plenty of wood. Dave and Loretta were very accommodating and easily assessable . It's beautifully decorated with some antiques which we enjoyed . Highly recommend . John , Debar, Rob and Sharon.”

“My 80 yr old mom had not been back to Vermont since 1996, and she loved every minute of our stay here.The farmhouse is quaint and charming and only 20 mins from town. The furniture and accommodations were terrific - my mom could not make it up the stairs, but she was delighted with how comfortable the couch was!This place is a fabulous getaway, and we could not have been happier.”

“Great location, near Manchester and Dorset, just off Rt 7A. Instructions for check in were spot on, but we didn't receive the initial email, it had to be resent. Probably the coldest weekend of the winter, with temps close to 0F. Oil heat/forced air, but it wasn't able to do a good job on the primary bedroom (downstairs). Other than that, unit was well furnished, with a Keurig coffee maker, full complement of cooking gear.Would definitely return in the future.”

“The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all. Inside, there are several living areas including a small back sunporch that is a quiet retreat both during the day and at night. We didn't end up using the……
