“Great location, near Manchester and Dorset, just off Rt 7A. Instructions for check in were spot on, but we didn't receive the initial email, it had to be resent. Probably the coldest weekend of the winter, with temps close to 0F. Oil heat/forced air, but it wasn't able to do a good job on the primary bedroom (downstairs). Other than that, unit was well furnished, with a Keurig coffee maker, full complement of cooking gear.Would definitely return in the future.”

The furniture and accommodations were terrific - my mom could not make it up the stairs, but she was delighted with how comfortable the couch was!This place is a fabulous getaway, and we could not have been happier.”

“OMG - this place is fantastic. An oasis of peace and quiet yet close to so many things - Albany Rep for theatre, 38 mins away, Saratoga - 38 min away, Bennington museums - 38 min away. Manchester VT - 38 min away. This house is so impeccably appointed and comfortable, you want for nothing. Add in the "see to the horizon" sight lines out your bedroom window and you know you are in heaven. You know the host cares for your comfort - she has even added a bit of magic to your stay”

“The house was absolutely perfect for our group. Even with 5 adults and 2 teens we felt like there was plenty of space. The property is gorgeous and our host was very communicative, supportive, and accommodating. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to the area ”

“The stay at the barn was fantastic. Very warm and cozy . For those who think staying in a restored barn was drafty , not at all , it's very well insulated and it was 31 degrees outside. The fire place was awesome with plenty of wood. Dave and Loretta were very accommodating and easily assessable . It's beautifully decorated with some antiques which we enjoyed . Highly recommend . John , Debar, Rob and Sharon.”
