“The hotel is already relatively "modern" if you compare it with other hotels nearby. The single room and bed are small and old, but comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a spider in my room, which was totally unacceptable. I was advised by the receptionist that it was her first time to hear that and I should take a photo (if I did, I would upload this photo together with my comment). I literally gave a call to the receptionist and it took 15 minutes for her to come to my room, and it took……

“The rooms are lovely and the area is really nice would definitely stay again. Couldnt figure out how to get hot water in the shower. Twice people were giving a card to our rooms by mistake and we had to tell them to go back downstairs and explain the mistake so key card distribution needs to be worked on.”

“Lovely historical building, which does mean no elevator, but staff did offer to help with our bags. The staff were excellent, both the front desk and breakfast servers. We stayed in a twin bed room, which was comfortable and a good size. We had the egg and pancake option for breakfast, which is cooked when you arrive and gives you access to the continental options too. Tasty and decent value. We felt safe walking in the area, even after dark. Would stay here again.”
