Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!”

This is a lovely home with a location that made it convenient to visit several other counties in the country. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was present, including some food items stocked upon our arrival which meant we didn’t have to go right out and shop. That wasn’t expected but much……

“Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. There was fire place but couldn’t find……

“We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million.”
