“Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. It was well worth the trade……

“What a beautiful location on Kinderhook Lake. When you aren’t on the water, you will want to enjoy viewing the lake from the nice sized deck or from the dining table on the windowed porch. I traveled with my two young adult children and pup. The cottage was the perfect size for us. WiFi was great, one of us had to work a day while there. We kayaked every morning and evening, the provided kayaks were wonderful. There is plenty to explore on the 350 acre lake, saw bald eagles every day right near……

“Our family rented this property for a long weekend trip and had a great experience. We enjoyed the beauty of the local area, including some great local restaurants and coffee shops. We were snowed in for one day of our trip and enjoyed the coziness of the property and the full kitchen came in clutch to avoid needing to travel during the storm. ”

“Had a very pleasant stay in this cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and located right near a lake and playground. The cottage was extremely clean and tidy. The AC worked well and there were plenty of fans to use. We loved the screened in porch that had a large picnic table. This was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.”
