“Our family was here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The host was easy to contact and very helpful. Our kids are good swimmers and having the pond in the back yard with a kayak, paddle board, and canoe was the perfect touch. The hosts provided quite a bit ( cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent) which made our stay even better! There were a few beach chairs and a beach bag that came in handy. Not really any games or toys if you have little ones. Also, if you prefer……

“His cottage is exactly as advertised and was perfect for my wife and grandson. Just a short walk down to the beach and a short drive to all the great restaurants and things to do in Hyannis. The property manager Scott was very helpful and responsive.”

“Great location and really neat historic property. Spacious yard and nice extras like beach equip, provided linens and basic toiletries. Bathrooms are older 1960s vintage (if you like or don’t like that). Note that the upstairs three bedrooms (two twins and one queen) do not have any air conditioning - just fans. We got a cool week in the mid 70s so it wasn’t too bad for our 8 and 10 year old - but would have been tough if it was much hotter. Also - safety note that the steep stairs going to……

“We enjoyed our stay at the house this year. We had rented the same house for 7-8y but it wasn't renting this year. I love the quiet neighborhood and the shady backyard and porch for hanging out. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill was nice. Alex was very easy to communicate with.”

“Great clean little cottage. Perfect for two adults and a dog. The back yard is fenced in which was a pleasant surprise! Nice neighborhood there is a private beach within walking distance or a 5 minute drive to the public beach. The only issue we had was both mattresses seemed old and were not comfortable. ”

“We adore Wellfleet and have been visiting annually for almost 20 years! House was clean and comfortable. The only thing that we struggled with was hot water. There was only enough for one shower at a time, which is tough when transitioning from the beach to dinner.”
