“Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. Will certainly be returning later in……

“We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good. Parking nearly by on the street would have been a challenge. The property was in an area urban renewal. Was well within an easy walk to the High Street. ”

“Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. ”

“Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . “Wonderfully restored cottage with a lovely farmhouse kitchen complete with AGA and a large sitting room with a log stove (and lots of wood!), surrounded by old fashioned gardens. We found the owner very welcoming and helpful. What more could we ask for a relaxing and comfortable stay!”

“Well presented, well designed property. Really bright and spacious. Very comfy beds. We loved the hot tub and the location. The only slight niggles - a couple of the dining room chairs were very wobbly and the front of the dishwasher kept coming detached. These were not big problems though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”

“The atay was brillaint, communication with paul was excellent he replied quick to all messaged before and after booking. Booked it for my partners 30th birthday and was welcomed with 2 bottled of wine, the hut itself is beautiful although making into a double bed was a fart about as it blocked the toilets this wasnt a huge issue. The hot tub is very relaxing with the views of the lake and farmland we were lucky enough to stay on a clear night so the starts where very visable and made it that……

“La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky.”
