“The view from the cottage is outstanding. A long wooden table in the conservatory to sit about 8 people. There are comfy chairs too to relax in. The lounge is kind of rustic and a wee bit dark during the day. Ample table lamps to give a nice aura when it’s dark. I think there is way too much furniture in the room to be honest. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. 2nd bedroom is ok. The main bedroom is ok lovely duvet and bedding. Plenty storage. A bit narrow to get around the bottom of……

“Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking.
