“Beautiful place in a great location!”

“This was one of the best maintained and cared for rentals we've been to. It is clearly taken care of well. The hosts communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a comfortable stay, and we'd stay here again with no concerns. The place is close to plenty of restaurants and is a less than half hr drive to bar harbor. The pond with ducks was an added fun thing to look forward to when getting going for the day. ”

“The apartment is nice and clean and well maitain. However, we need to buy a fan from Walmart, to circulate the air in the bedroom since it is located in the back, the cold air from the front of the apt can not travel to the back.”

“Decent place to stay if you are visiting Bar Harbor, etc. Apartment itself is nice enough and there's a great Sri Lankan restaurant just across the road. Contact with the management company was very good and they responded quickly. Only issue is that the bed is small and the mattress not very good so you 'rolled together' quite a lot. The room it's in is a decent size so could definitely take a bigger bed”

“It’s the small touches and fulfillment of preferences that make a good rental experience, and this one missed the mark for us. The bathroom featured a leaky shower stall, paper thin towels, and the toilet was not the cleanest. The Keurig was moldy and we cleaned it, but then thought better of it and went out to get coffee instead. ”

“My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and picked this property because it looked suitable for where we wanted to be from a location standpoint. The room was nice and I think we both enjoyed the historic aspect of the building. The property manager was exceptional in regards to responses while we were there. I don’t think I waited more than a minute or two for her to get back to me on anything. Couple things that I feel could be addressed for the future. Our bed was an air mattress……

“Outstanding location. This is within walking distance of Maine Savings Amphitheater! Most comfortable mini couch I’ve ever been in. Open space is great! However, this was advertised on VRBO as having a clothes washer and dryer. Upon arrival, unit DID NOT have a working clothes washer. After several communications with the unit’s POC and after determining that the washer could not be replaced in time during my stay, we agreed to reasonable compensation for this inconvenience. Compensation not……

“This place was beautiful! Very cute, cozy, and modern inside. You can tell there’s a lot of work and love that went into making this a great place to stay. Great location along our drive up/down the coast of Maine! Lisa was quick to respond to questions about our stay. We loved every minute we spent here and would definitely stay there again!”

“We visited the Acadia / Bar Harbor area. Orland was approximately 40 minutes from that area. The apartment was very clean & comfortable, we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It’s located on a small lake, and is surrounded by lots of trees. ”

“Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. ”

“We had a great stay. The place was VERY clean, quiet and certainly peaceful. Everything you could possibly need for our trip was provided (Coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.). It's convenient to both shopping (5 mins.) and local attractions including Acadia (30 mins.). 5 stars!”
