“Kevin was great checked in on us several times! The cabin matched pictures to a T. It was super clean! Everything you needed was there! Located close to Acadia National Park!!! Close to get restaurants! Would recommend to anyone going to the Parks!!!”

“We were so amazed at the cleanliness of the cabin and the beautiful location on Chemo Pond. The cabin was well stocked with linens and paper products. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We were close to both Bar Harbor and Bangor and spent a few days sightseeing. We bought live lobsters in Bangor and caught some fish in the pond so we made a seafood feast at the cabin. One day we just sat at the side of the pond, dipped our feet in the water, and enjoyed the scenery for……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the extremely unique treehouse with our 4 grandkids along with the amazing visits to Acadia & Bar Harbor plus the numerous dining options in the area. Awesome stay!!”

“Great cabin with your own private beach area and dock Out favorite part was the lakeside fire pit.. it was so relaxing to enjoy fires at night while watching the lake Very clean lake but super rocky We had a blast swimming, fishing and kayaking Owners very attentive to needs but also allowed privacy Short walk to beach area (uneven ground) may be tricky for some but we all had no issues ”

“Perfect place if your plan is too travel yo Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Property is located in a quiet area with easy access to restaurants and shopping ( i.e., Hannaford, Shawn's, etc). Property is not luxurious but gets the job done.”

“The heron's nest was just what we were looking for, a quiet, comfortable cabin with a beautiful lake view. We will definitely stay here again when we get back to Maine.”

“Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it.”

“Excellent host! Great connections on the island for everything. Great information on Ferry status, etc. Cabin is truly rustic, spartan appointments as described. Great location and view west with good weather. Bring your goodies, luxuries from the mainland. Lobsters are available tho!”

“My 18-year-old son and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at Driftwood Cottage. This home is well appointed, with really everything we needed from cooking utensils to kayaks. It was so quiet there and an excellent lauching point for all our Coastal Maine adventures. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Driftwood Cottage!”

“Great cabin in a great location. Jenkins Beach was a fantastic property. It was quiet yet close to everything. The lake was beautiful and although it was a little too cold to swim at this time of year, we had fun fishing right outside our door. The cabin was brand new inside and out and very clean and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic and were always concerned about the quality of our stay. I HIGHLY recommend the Jenkins Beach property. We can’t wait to come back!”
