“We had a wonderful time staying at your lake house with a family of 2 adults and two 12 year old boys. We had plenty of swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the beautiful clean lake. Having firewood available made for a relaxing and easy evening for making fire and eating s'mores. We all really enjoyed A1 relics antique shop for one of our rainy day. we just love the sound of the loons and the sensational sky view. The host, Josh, was available and responsive to any questions I had during my trip.……

“This cabin was a lovely find! It’s tucked away behind a few trees, and yet right on the lake. There’s a beach a few steps away, and with kayaks and other water gear for use as well. It’s quite welcoming and easily accommodates a large group. The hosts are communicative and respond timely to questions. We love the area and would absolutely stay at the cabin again.”

“The photos do not do this property justice! The property and cabin are beautiful and tranquil. Only 30 minutes to Acadia National Park. Very easy to tour all of Mount Desert Island from the cabin. 10 mintes to a couple of grocery stores. When we first turned onto the dirt/gravel road and the GPS still showed 1 mile to go we were a bit apprehensive but we went to the end of the road and turned into the drive and were met with a stunning view of the cabin, cove and river. “We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. ”
