“I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. ”

We picked up supplies before getting to the house, so the only thing we went out for was bait at the local general store. “Very spacious, clean, and comfortable two-story suite in the downtown area. We loved staying there and highly recommend it. That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered.”

“Stayed here unplanned after our car needed to go in unexpectedly and absolutely loved it! Adorable set up. The owner was incredibly nice, even helped us pick our car when it was ready. Staying with all the animals was so much fun. Hiking bald mountain was so cool, we got to ID some new lichen and mushrooms. P.S. the eggs are delicious and I think their horse just had a foal right before we left!?”

“We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. Also, not having us do any clean up before we left was a really nice bonus. I don't mind the small things other places ask us to do, but that you acknowledge……

We needed a clean place to crash while spending most of our time in Acadia or somewhere on the island, and this spot is just minutes from crossing over to the island. <5 mins to great morning coffee spots, several lobster shacks. Having white noise helps drown out road noise. Wifi in room 10 is spotty and needs an extender, as cell service is sparse. I would definitely suggest adding more wall hooks throughout the room and bathroom - much easier to hang up gear……
