“Everything was wonderful about our stay. One of the best rentals we have had over the years, and Janet has thought of everything, and the house is so very clean. The location cannot be beat with the waterfront, the dock and the swimming raft and loved having the boats available to us. Kitchen is well stocked and strong wifi (for those of us who had to do a little work while away). We didn't get a chance to watch the movies she has stocked, but there were a bunch of our favorites. “We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. The chairs in the main area were about the only thing we would change. With the amount of rain, we were stuck inside but not very comfortably. ……

“We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!”

“Everything was so easy for checking in! The house was very well stocked with anything you would need. There were even extras just in case you forgot something like a tooth brush shampoo etc... Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived! The fishing on the pond was great! Caught plenty of bass and pickerel! Plenty of hiking to do nearby! And the best part was we were able to bring our two pups with us! They had a blast on the pond! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate……

“After booking I never got check in details and tried reached out to the host multiple times by phone and through messages/chat. We put the address in that was given and pulled up to a house where the driveway was dirt and blocked by a big work/old truck. There was trash and scrap metal lining the driveway. We had no reply from the host AT ALL and clearly couldn’t even access the “tiny home” that didn’t have running water, a toilet or cooking capabilities. We had to book somewhere else. Refund……

“We had a wonderful time at this quiet lake. Property is nestled into the woods, a perfect Maine camp. Kayaking, fishing, and swimming all day. A great place to return and unwind after exploring on day trip adventures. Gorgeous sunsets! Thanks for letting us enjoy and relax!”

Our host Sue was welcoming and offered helpful suggestions for hiking trails and local shopping. The location was perfect for the what we wanted to do and we look forward to visiting again.”

“This was our second year spending a week at Nick's place and we had a great time. The weather was a bit chilly early in the week, but we enjoyed fishing in the lake and taking out our SUP. North Conway was close by and we enjoyed taking our son to play mini golf and an arcade. Nick's place is close to downtown Bridgton where there are many restaurants and shops. We had great sushi from Elevation Sushi, but enjoyed using the grill many nights. The lake is beautiful - with crystal clear warm……

“We visited the N. Conway area for snowboarding over a long weekend & stayed at this lovely property. While it’s a bit of a drive to the resorts, we didn’t mind, even during the snowstorm! The cottage was very inviting, comfortable, & well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the wood stove! The owners were likewise very gracious. We hope to visit again next year! ”
