“We have a pretty big family and this house was perfect for us. My 3 kids and there 5 kids had plenty of room and plenty to do. A bit pff the beaten path but close enough to the mountain and very private. ”

“This was our second stay at Nancy’s and it was just as perfect as the first. She’s an extremely communicative and thoughtful host - leaves a welcome basket with snacks, always gives us suggestions for activities that are age appropriate for our daughter, and responds to any and all questions promptly. It’s the perfect family getaway. Whether you want to ski, sled, go out to eat, shop, or just lounge in PJs (the house is so cozy and well maintained), this is absolutely the spot. We will be back……

“This is a good property. It was clean, had a well-appointed kitchen, and the location is great for enjoying anything the Lakes Region has to offer. The managers were very communicative and easy to work with. The only reason this is 4 stars is we did feel a little misled by the listing. There is definitely no hot tub at this property. There's a nice big bath tub, which can be filled with hot water, but that doesn't make a hot tub. It also claims to sleep 14, and unless those are small children or……

“Very nice property. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient to Moose Pond, Pleasant Mountain, Bridgeton Center, and Fryburg Center. Only about 35 mins to North Conway. Owners were very nice and helpful. We recommend this property. ”

“The house is large and very clean. Mostly very well appointed, a few exceptions such as only 3 teaspoons and one bedroom with a small double bed for adults. There is a large TV, but it is locked with the owner’s account. There are no instructions anywhere, TVs, pellet stove, hot tub, gas fireplace etc. No call to check that you are in okay. No phone number in case of an issue. I emailed both VRBO and the owner with no response from either. Pool table kept children entertained - a lot to enjoy,……

“This place was exactly as stated and more. the views of the white mountains from the deck were epic. the kitchen was very well stocked. the house is clean. we have two kids under 3 and there were lots of toys and house was quite well child proofed considering. the basement room for hanging up gear was exactly what was needed after a busy day being outside. there is so much to do around the area in winter for kids it was a perfect getaway and will definitely be coming back.”

“Place was as advertised. Clean and well located an 8-10 min walk to the base of South Ridge. Nice hot tub and deck and plenty of towels and linens. A couple pieces of furniture could use an upgrade but overall a great stay. Would definitely return. Communication with host / owner was fantastic and easy.”
