“If I could rate it higher stars I would!! This is a fantastic place. The owner Steve was great - very helpful and accommodating. There were many breakfast options and the food was good. The decor in the building is very artsy and gorgeous. I got a good vibe from the place as soon as I walked in - very welcoming. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Eastbourne boardwalk and 5-10 minute walk into town. Good location. I would stay here again when in Eastbourne.”

Much room for improvement on housekeeping and the rest of the room, such as windows and cleaniness of appliances like hairdryer and kettle. Fair deal in terms of what we paid. “Just a rare find these days. Everything you could hope for. Exactly the best type of old village pub, great atmosphere, fine tap room and diversity of excellent food and drink. Menu delicious…. Loosen your belt for the full Tiger breakfast! Staff so helpful, courteous and …. well just happy to make your stay as memorable as possible… Location superb, from the immediate tables on the village green to everything local for fine sightseeing and walks etc… This is a conundrum… we don’t want to shout……

“Really enjoyed our short break at the Tiger Inn. Spacious room with comfortable bed, ensuite bath/shower (very powerful shower, which was great) teat & coffee making, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, bottled water, etc, as you would expect. Good hearty breakfast with various menu choices (fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast, cooked dishes) in the downstairs snug area. Peaceful and quiet (on the village green) and the evening drinks and food punters had all gone by 10PM, so no disturbance from others……
