“I cannot say enough good things about Deirdre's beautiful home and how grateful my family was to be able to stay here during our visit to Stamford. The house is perfect for a family with younger kids; they were so excited to have their very own play room! The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped with everything you might need, as was the kitchen. Deirdre in particular was so communicative and helpful with all of our questions. “We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.”

“Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. ”

“My daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting colleges in the area. The room was cute (modern, beach-vibe) and clean. As others mentioned when the bar let out around midnight it was a little loud (many college students rent in the area). I also didn’t care for the mini-split going on and off throughout the night - I’m just not used to that noise. Overall it was a fine stay but perhaps not if you are a light-sleeper. ”
