“Everything was just as described in the listing- wish we weren’t so tired from the beach to enjoy the pool! So close to the beach!!!Neighborhood was a little rundown but there are security cameras around the property entrances code door lock so that made us feel very safe you park in the driveway. “Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented. ”

“We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”

“Three of us were in town for a Navy reunion. This was the perfect place for us. There are 3 bedrooms. Pretty small, but perfect if you just need a bed and dresser. Nice little sitting area and eating area. It was really very cozy. The real plus is the location. It was just 2 blocks from a coffee shop, another block to a liquor store and convenience store. “Excellent experience. Chris was an awesome host: informative, responsive, and very pleasant to deal with. House is spacious, meticulous, and has all the amenities of a typical home. We were very comfortable with 5 adults and 2 children. Kids (7 & 9) loved the huge 3rd floor bedroom/playroom with oversized bunk beds and lots of toys. Close to I-95, Yale University, Tweed airport but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
