“This visit was my first time in Norfolk and the Stiffkey Red Lion was an ideal location for Walsingham, Wells and the numerous nature reserves in the area. The walks from the Red Lion to the sea or inland are excellent. I strongly recommend this hotel. The food was very good.”

“Excellent hotel stay. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The main house is comfortable and welcoming. The room was lovely, maybe a tad small but extremely clean with premium sheets and had everything you needed. Good coffee too! Only one tiny suggestion - the soap and shower gel were same container - it would be good to have a small bar soap at the sink so you didn’t need to move them. Love having bath robes. The restaurant was delightful - very fresh healthy food and great service. Would……

“This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\ ”

“Friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble they were very accommodating, lovely well kept hotel with plenty of character. We had the beef tenderloin in the restaurant and it was sublime, lots of nice lounging areas and a beautiful little courtyard area as well. We enjoyed the complimentary private use of the spa and opted to have back massages which was so relaxing. Overall experience was 10/10 ”
