“Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simply appointed and has necessities. Quiet area directly on the Ohio River, not far from Garden of the Gods. About thirty minutes from Harrisburg. We drove in and ate at Morello's one day and The BBQ Barn on another day. Both good choices. ”

“Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!”

“This house was amazing. Loved the outdoor living areas. Which is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room inside and out for our entire family. 8 adults and 4 small children. Cooked on the flat stone for supper and breakfast. The dock was very nice with lots of amenities. But there wasn’t enough sitting area out of the sun. But it was very hot, near 100 degrees every day. “We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in a lovely small river town! It was the perfect spot for “home base” for our family reunion held in Karbers Ridge — plenty of space, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to grab an ice cream, look at the river and a short drive away for delicious meals at Strickland Seafood in Paducah, and a lunch at Patti’s 1880’s, and we also had some fun at Harrah’s in Metropolis. This home made a perfect base for making family……
