“The place is a daylight basement apartment in a quite neighborhood. The Host was extremely responisve. There are 2 things to be aware of. There is no thermostat downstairs. May not normally a problem, but it was unusually cold for Seattle and rto cold to sit when we got there, so we turned on he fireplace and the space heater, and the owners turned on the upstairs heat, which also serciced the appt, as well. “The place was fine for our one night stay. I would not want to stay there for a longer period of time. There were three of us. The futon was very uncomfortable. We were unable to watch TV because the cable box was removed. The place was clean and simplistically decorated. The grounds were lovely and it was quiet. We did not have much contact with the host. I said hello and goodbye. Laurie spoke with him a while longer because he had chickens and she has chickens. ”
