“Absolutely loved this place! Check in was all done by phone with electronic keys being activated on the app. Same with check-out, which was very easy. The apartment itself was wonderful and had everything we needed. Modern, clean, and very comfortable. The drinks in the bar were fantastic, the bagels in the cafe were equally good, and all of the staff were lovely! We walked all around Berlin from here. Lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby.”

“Nena apartments are a low cost means to an end. They offer a quiet place to sleep which is generally fairly clean and comfortable. Bedding is basic but acceptable. The kitchenette had the things you needed. The bathroom had an odd smell but I think that was the body wash they provided you with - similar to a coal tar/smoke smell. An in-room safe would be a plus. ”

I booked a rooftop balcony suite and I enjoyed the layout of the room, however I felt a little uncomfortable that the entire rooftop was accessible to all guests. I ended up keeping my blinds closed all night to ensure my privacy. I would definitely prefer some barrier between the rooms and the public use area. I still enjoyed my stay and would return however I would not get the rooftop……

“It’s a crowd place with crowds flowing. Convenient to take public transportation but again, wouldn’t be nice and clean at the traffic center. There’s no warm water for showering. It’s either old or burning. The water temperature switches itself without anybody touching and it actually burned my skin. Shower cap was ripped.
