“I booked this location for a Father & Son fishing trip. It was perfect! Over the week we caught over 20 fish a day in the pond. Between the boat and the kayaks we explored the entirety of Fern Lake. We also had an opportunity to fly fish one of the best rivers only 20 minutes away. The Camp was in excellent shape. Perfect for our trip or an entire family!!!”

Be aware that the windows don't close properly (or at all), there is a lot of noise during the night, properly critters. This unit is above someone and the neighbors are quite close. “Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use.
