“We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake……

“Hidden Bear cabin was beautiful! Everything we needed or wanted was there. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The place was clean and very comfortable. “We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the access to the shoreline. We had an issue with the septic alarm going off and had to call the property manager. He answered right away and told us how to silence the alarm. We appreciated the quick response. My only suggestion would be updating the oven. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“The house was perfect for our family. Everyone was able to have their own room and bed. Plenty of room to eat. Liked how it was so open - between the living room, kitchen and dining room area. Having the backyard fenced in was nice to have with 2 little ones. The house was stocked with everything that we needed. The downside to the house rental was the flies. There were flies everywhere so when we were cooking, or eating, and they were flying all around, it was kind of gross. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Stonehedge View. It is bright and cheerful and meticulously clean. We appreciated that it was dog friendly yet still well-decorated and maintained. The layout was open, and the windows brought a lot of light in. The fireplace was so easy to just turn on with a switch. We liked the location as it was private with a spacious backyard and fire pit. Communication with the property manager was efficient as we had to contact them via email because the garbage did not get picked……

“Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. “This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever been in and we have been in a few over the years. There is pride shown in the workmanship throughout this home. The property is perfectly located for access to the towns center. We could walk to town in 5 minutes and be in the center of the shops and restaurants. Our age group was in the middle 60’s.
