“We *loved* our stay. I knew the location would be great (basically next door to the International Wolf Center in Ely), but I didn't know in advance how spacious, quiet, and green the place would be. We enjoyed playing a number of the board games in the evenings. My spouse and I were both especially taken by the adorable groundhog who lives outside under the deck, and who popped up at times to bathe in the summer sun. ”

The photos in the listing are good, but don't totally capture the spaciousness, views, and attention to detail here. There are so many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy! We rarely heard any neighbors and really couldn't see them at all. We also appreciated all of the storage available (huge closet inside the main door, great pantry area, cabinets in the bathrooms, etc.) unlike most rental……

“Absolutely wonderful stay in Lutsen. Modern Scandinavian design that was truly so cozy and inviting. Kitchen and living space were perfect for our group to relax, cook. Large windows made you feel like we were really part of the beautiful birch and pine forest, wildflowers blooming. Two bathrooms was so helpful with little kiddos and adults running around. Beds were super comfortable. Only complaint we had was the AC Minisplit was up in the loft which didn’t circulate very well to the enclosed……
