“We had a three night stay in the studio and were really impressed by the layout, comfort and super amenities with everything one needed. Fantastic location right in the heart of Grand Marais. Highly recommend and will come again! ”

“The beds are especially comfortable, I was attending the folk school and needed some supplies that would not have been allowed through TSA and the owner was very cooperative and supplied them for me. Everything was described. It is a bit ‘bare bones’, but serviceable. ”

“An incredible property! The location is perfect for walking around Grand Marais and enjoying the local restaurants and shops. The unit itself could be have been more perfect. Absolutely spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and COMFORTABLE! The beds and living room furniture were perfect to relax/sleep on and the kitchen had everything we needed. Accessing the property was easy and the parking was convenient. The host was attentive and so kind. We hope to stay here again in the future!”

We spent most of our time hiking, but our time spent at the Studio provided everything we needed, especially the wonderful, easy access to the lake. “From the moment we entered and could see directly to the saltless sea through our final morning, we thoroughly enjoyed this property! It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location is so convenient to hiking trails, shops, restaurants, the artsy downtown and the Gunflint Trail. The hosts were so very kind and helpful. They communicated with us and made excellent suggestions. Wish we had stayed longer; hope we can visit again someday!”

“Awesome views, very clean. Beach lounge chairs are provided by Palm Bay, but they don’t provide umbrellas, you can rent one at the beach, around 28. We got lucky and there was a beach umbrella in the closet along with beach toys and kid floats. There were only a couple of small issues that are not real issues, more of an inconveniences. No paper towels, no salt n pepper and no grill utensils. These were fixed with a quick Instacart order and we didn’t miss a beat. We will definitely stay here……

“This is a great place to stay for a family of 4 in Grand Marais. The property is clean and well maintained, and the communication with the owners was excellent. It is within walking distance of all the downtown action, and a stone throw away from Voyageur brewery. The hammock and fireplace were a plus as well. Will try to come back.”
