“What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!”

I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! “It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there.The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin. “What a lovely, cozy, serene, and dog friendly eco friendly cabin to relax at! The loft bed was super comfortable, the small kitchenette was perfect for making your own meals, the sauna was a great option to do some self care, followed by an outdoor shower! Campfires, stars galore and a great deck to enjoy facing Lake Superior! Always appreciate a dog friendly spot that charges a reasonable fee. “Great location for people who like to be close to nature but not go camping. Comfy beds and living/dining space.Easy and short drive to so many beautiful State Parks and hiking and biking trails. Great view of Lake Superior from both levels of the home and the large front deck. Well stocked with board games, puzzles, cards if you need something to do indoors. ”

“We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!”

“Really nice small cabin perfect for a couple or small family! The views were beautiful and at night it was pitch black! We were able to find a nearby camp with a shower so everything worked out great!”

“I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. ”
