“Lovely remote lodge in beautiful area. The room is small, but well appointed. You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. They are last on the trail except a campground, so once you’re here, you’ll need to have everything. I came thinking I might get to see the Milky Way since it’s so remote, but there……

“Very nice, clean, and bright vacation spot. Enjoyed the wooded secluded location. We made good use of the kitchen. Great location, close to XC ski spots and Grand Marais. We were snowed in (couldn't get back up the driveway) for a bit due to the heavy snow.”

“My two teenage kids and I recently stayed in this house and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size for our little family and we loved being able to walk to The Angry Trout, Voyageur Brewing, and all the fun stuff in Grand Marais. Our hosts were super accommodating and responsive. The house was very clean and was surrounded with gorgeous foliage including bright orange poppies and fragrant lilac trees. There’s even a tiny waterfall in the creek behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay……
