“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

“Had a wonderful, relaxing time. The Gia Maria is an old-fashioned charmer dripping with character. Worn-in and comfortable, my wife and I loved it. Very peaceful on the river. Would have stayed longer if our travel itinerary allowed. Would love to stay again. Captain Ron is a friendly and lovely host.”
