“We had a wonderful family vacation at Crickets Cove! The house was updated and spacious for our group. The neighbors within the cove were all super friendly! We enjoyed using the paddle board, kayaks and water pad. The location was great for the 4th of July, as we could watch the fireworks from the yard. The owner responded quickly to my inquiries. ”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the home was perfect! Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. Will definitely be bringing the whole family down mext time to enjoy this property!”

The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. From then on, we spent every moment outside that we possibly could. When we weren’t boating, we floated on the lily pad, used the kayak, and jumped off the dock countless times. We ate meals either on the porch or out on the top deck of the dock. We loved using the fire pit on the porch and……

“The property was just as it was in photos as in person. It is in a quiet area, little traffic, just what you want when you want down time and no drama! Fun areas to explore. Went to Lake Gaston Coffee, awesome scones and coffee. A very nice selection of wines for a coffee shop. Had dinner at Waterview in Littleton. Not far from house at all. Food was great. Right on the water and have music on select days. Rosemont winery is a must. We will be back. Our host was wonderful. Answered……

“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

We had an age range from 5-74. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The property managers were great to work with and was quick to respond to any questions. “This place was perfect. Our large group always struggles to find a place that works to sleep everyone and is separate enough so that when the babies are in bed the adults don't have to be silent. This house fits the bill. People on the top level cannot hear anything in the basement and vice versa. In addition the house was extremely well stocked. They thought of everything. We can't wait to come back next year. ”
