“Cannot fault our recent stay, Property is very clean and tidy, room recently refurbished to a standard above most of the premium hotels I have visited .Owners very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, breakfast was cooked fresh with a very good range of options.Pool complex was also clean tidy and very well maintained, water temperature was very comfortable, no shock to the system as you first emerge.Location of property seems a bit out of town, but in reality is only 5 min drive to……

“Our experience was amazing. The room was so cosy, clean and warm. A beautiful bath with gorgeous toiletries supplied. The owner and son were so friendly and helpful. They have a dry room which was great for our hiking gear. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel, b&b or guest houses. Will definitely be back again. ”

“This is a lovely hotel, with charm and character. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cozy, clean and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside! The bathroom also clean and in good condition - the shower was great! The location was also better than we thought - we were able to get to other lakes and towns, a shopping outlet and even the coast within 30-60min drive. The only 'quirk' with this hotel was that at each breakfast, we got a different portion size, despite ordering……

“What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. ”
